Global Week of Action 20- 26 May 2006
In order to ensure that the national missions/representatives have understood the demands of networks of people living with HIV/AIDS and other civil society groups before they go and discuss further commitments at UNGASS in New York we need to join forces at the country level. However our messages at the national level would be even more powerful if it is replicated in several countries at the same time – helping to create a global movement that demands urgency in tackling the pandemic.
The Global AIDs Week of Action is in fact many diverse national mobilisations being co-ordinated across countries in the week before UNGASS.
