PROJECT OVERVIEW

The North East Regional Office of ActionAid India, headed by Mrinal Gohain, is located in the city of Guwahati. It manages long term and short term initiatives in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram. These projects that span across districts like Tinsukia, Morigaon, Chandel, Mamit and Lakhimpur directly reaches out to about 93,000 people largely from the tribal communities in the region.
