Centre for integrated rural and tribal development (CIRTD) is a registered organisation has the objective to work for land, forest and agriculture based livelihood of different Adivasi community of Sundargarh district. Though it is registered under society registration Act in state level and has history of working in nearby districts for different issues of Tendu leaves collection and land, forest and displacement, at present it is concentrating in Sundargarh only . CIRTD has been associated with ActionAid association since 2004 on peopleﾒs struggle for land rights, human trafficking in Sundargarh with a very small resource support. Though the support was channelled through other civil society agency, but the outcome was visible as CIRTD had the conviction to make the people access their rights with their own effort. The outcome was formation of a peopleﾒs organisation of Adivasi displaced community, who tried to have control over natural resources for their only livelihood based on agriculture and forest resources.
