    • Basic Information about the initiative
    • A consortium for the rights of unorganized labour has been formed comprising two organizations viz; Sristy and SPAN, for collective implementation and joint advocacy to ensure rights of the people dependent on informal economy. The consortium hence titled as ムShramik Sahayata Kendraメ and started functioning from May 2014. Though in the initial phase initiatives were targeted towards all informal sector workers but gradually it had been realized that a major chunk of workers are engaged in domestic help. Thus the specific drive was given to highlight their demands and materialize ILO recommendations of decent work agenda.
