- NCVK has been in association with ActionAid since 2002 when its Secretary Mr. Narayan Paswan got an initial support for working on the issue of Manual Scavenging in Bihar. In 2009 organization was given an NF under IPAP for empowerment of Musahar community and Manual Scavengers in Warsaliganj and Nawada blocks. In 2010 again got support from Patna RO to work against landlessness, untouchability in the public and private spheres and issues of participation of Dalits in the local governance system. NCVK was also supported by RO to make interventions against drought. Finally, after due appraisal process, NCVK-LRP was initiated in 2011
