Support Sikkim Flood Relief

Sikkim is in the grip of a devastating flood. News reports state that 40 people have lost their lives, and 102 individuals, including 22 Army Jawans, are missing. Tens of thousands of lives are affected after a cloudburst over Lhonak Lake triggered flash floods in the Teesta River basin.

The Flood Affected Need Our Help

Many survivors are injured and in desperate need of support. Working with local authorities and volunteers on the ground, we are conducting rapid assessment to determine crucial relief needs, including dry rations, food, clean drinking water and temporary shelter for affected families.

We Are Responding

ActionAid Association is preparing to roll out relief operations for affected people and provide dry ration, food, clean drinking water, hygiene kits, winter clothes, rain gears, solar lights, medicines and medical assistance anticipated and shelter materials to communities most impacted by the floods.
