    • Basic Information about the initiative
    • The project Transforming Young Lives is working in the urban relocation settlement Seemancherry in Chennai city, Tamil Nadu. The long-term project has been engaged with urban poor, young women, children, youth, domestic labour, construction worker, garment worker, saltpan workers. The project is facilitating the access of women groups in housing, GRPS, Women safety, and livelihood. The project has been also facilitating the awareness generation programme among these communities in order to promote the accessibility of various social welfare and social security schemes. The project is also working to promote the child safety, school education, access to scholarships and towards addressing mental health issues and eliminate child marriage.
