• Support the Communication team in day-to-day management of ActionAid Association’s digital and social media platforms.
• Upload, schedule and publish photographs, videos, reels, posters, infographics and other approved content across Instagram, Facebook and other relevant social media and digital platforms.
• Assist in preparing and formatting social media content, including captions, hashtags, thumbnails and basic creative adaptations as required.
• Support the uploading and updating of approved content on the ActionAid Association website and other digital platforms, including campaign and emergency-response content.
• Collect and coordinate photographs, videos, stories and other digital content from programme and regional teams for timely dissemination through digital platforms.
• Undertake basic editing, resizing and formatting of photos, videos, reels and other digital materials using appropriate digital/content creation tools.
• Maintain an organized archive of photographs, videos and other digital content, with appropriate file naming and documentation.
• Monitor routine engagement and performance of published content and support the preparation of basic weekly/monthly digital and social media reports.
• Stay updated on relevant social media formats, platform features and basic digital content trends and share useful updates with the Communication team.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies/vendors, as required, for timely delivery and publication of digital content.
• Ensure that all content published is in line with ActionAid brand guidelines, Child Safeguarding and other applicable organizational policies.

• Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication, Social Sciences, Social Work, Management or a related field.
• Practical experience in managing social media platforms and uploading/publishing photographs, videos, reels, posters, infographics and other digital content.
• Good skills in writing and editing social media captions, hashtags and short digital content; ability to present information clearly and creatively.
• Basic proficiency in photo/video editing and digital content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar applications; familiarity with social media publishing tools is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and common digital tools; basic ability to track social media engagement and prepare reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills, ability to work as part of a team, gender sensitivity and commitment to working with disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Knowledge of local languages and willingness to travel will be an advantage.
