Donation Refund and Cancellation Policy

ActionAid Association is committed to transparency and accountability in all our financial transactions. This refund and cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions associated with donations made to our organization. We encourage all donors to read and understand this policy before donating.

  1. Donation Refund Policy

1.1. Eligibility for Refunds

In general, any donation made to ActionAid Association is not refundable. However, we will consider refund requests for the following reasons:

      • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.
      • Processing errors, such as duplicate donations.
      • Donation made in error.

1.2. How to Request a Refund

      • To request a refund, donors must send a written request within 7 days of the donation date.
      • Refund requests can be submitted via email to fundindia@actionaid.org  or by writing to us in the given address- Supporter Services Unit, ActionAid Association, #139 Richmond Road, Bangalore 560025.
      • In the refund request, please provide the donation date, donation amount, mode of transaction (Online/Cheque/Direct Credit), transaction ID / reference and the reason for the refund request.

1.3. Refund Process

      • Refunds will be issued via NEFT or Demand Draft, and the donor will provide the bank account details for the payment.

1.4. Refund Deductions

      • We reserve the right to deduct any transaction fees, bank charges, or other expenses incurred in the processing of the original donation from the refund amount.

2.1. Monthly or Recurring Donations

      • Donors can cancel their recurring donations at any time by contacting our Supporter Services Team via email at fundindia@actionaid.org  or by writing to us in the given address- Supporter Services Unit, ActionAid Association, #139 Richmond Road, Bangalore 560025.
      • Cancellation requests should be made at least 10 days before the next scheduled donation to ensure that no further charges occur.
