SIPRA RAYCHAUDHURI

I have been associated with ActionAid for more than a decade. I feel that ActionAid is doing a great job. They stand by marginalized people specially women and children. I have been contributing towards a child’s education and they usually send me updates about the child which means a lot to me. They also help people during natural calamities. In near future I will probably retire and may not be able to contribute financially but I will always support [them].

“It is such a blessing to be part of this organisation in a small way by supporting a child. Few years ago when I became a part of this, I began to know more about the organisation. The tremendous dedication and honesty with which the team works [makes me] speechless. I would humbly suggest the organisation to keep up the good work because people need your helping hands.

Thanking you for developing India from its base level.

“We’re so pleased to have ActionAid as our partners as we make a real difference in the lives of so many deserving kids. Every time I provide a donation to ActionAid, I know that I am making an impact in our community. Each gift I give goes directly to providing a nourishing meal to children, dealing with food insecurity. ActionAid is a valuable and strategic partner that helps and makes a meaningful impact and contribution to the community where we live, work and raise our families. The whole journey [with] ActionAid is good and [I am] really happy to share the donation. Thank you.”

“Every kid needs to be smiling, playing and learning. Giving a child the power to dream through access to education and social wellbeing can improve everyone’s future. There’s deep satisfaction in knowing that you can be a part of this wholesome journey, thanks to ActionAid.”

“I would like to tell you that I found out about this noble cause through Internet. I was very eager to give back to society [for] so long. As I was surfing through [the] [N]et I went into [the ActionAid India] site. The details of the donations and sponsorship were given. I liked the way you manage all the deprived people by doing something very unusual for them. And that’s how I got connected to be a part of your NGO. Recently I sponsored a child which I found very overwhelming. I felt very touched by the gesture of the sponsored child. I have started creating awareness in Mumbai so more and more people will come together to fight for this cause. From my side I’m trying very hard to motivate people on doing such sponsorships. My target is that each individual in the world should sponsor a child so that Everyone could become equal one day. I would like to do more and more stuff for … children so that they could also live a normal life like us. From my side I’ll also try that this initiative gets [known] worldwide.

Finally all the best for upcoming projects. Hope this NGO scale[s] new heights in uplifting people.”
