    • Basic Information about the initiative
    • Dalit Adhkir Abhiyan was founded by the Dalit Sangh in 2006 in collaboration with ActionAid India. Dalit Sangh a registered society was the first organisation in the state of Madhya Pradesh to partner with the Garima Abhiyan (Dignity Campaign) to end the practice of manual scavenging. Taking this initiative further the organisation starting working securing broader rights for the Dalit community and after a mid term review started working with Pragati Gramin Vikas Sanstha in Betul. Currently the project is moving towards the final stages and the state level efforts are being co-ordinated by the Dr Ambedkar Samajik Kendra.
