    • Disha Kendra has been working in the tribal belt of Karjat block in Raigad district since 1978. After separating from the peopleメs organization Jagrut Bhaubandhi Sangathan in 1989 to make the peopleメs organization an independent entity with a new name Jagrut Kashtakari Sangathan, Disha Kendra has been working as a training, research and development support organization. The partnership with ActionAid has been going on since 2006. Disha Kendra in collaboration with AA has supported peoplesメ struggles to gain control over natural resources like land, water, forest and common properties, ensuring implementation of MREGA, PDS and other laws and programmes for their development.
