    • Shaheen Womenメs Resource and Welfare Association was started in the year of 2002 to work among different deprived communities where communal riots are more prevalent in the Old City area of Hyderabad. The Shaheen Women Resource and welfare Association is located in Sultan shahi and working 20 slums covering 67645 populations. Shaheen has a vision to have a society in which gender, class, caste or religious status do not impinge upon oneメs resources, rights or freedom ヨ whether inside the home or in public spaces and with a mission to creating an enabling environment for the women to regain control over their minds, bodies, livelihoods, resources and community level decision making processes. Shaheenメs objective is to initiate and structure gender responsive economic alternatives and also to ensure that women should have control over their bodies and on their income. Another objective is that women should be aware of their sexual and reproductive health rights.
