    • Basic Information about the initiative
    • Suchetana works intensively with women and girls of the marginalized communities of the tribal hinterland in Jungle Mahal region under Jhargram sub division in the district of Paschim Medinipur. The thrust area of the organization is transformation of lives of the tribal women through nurturing their leadership and creating cohesive federations of women. The project focus is to ensure meaningful participation of women and adolescents to prevent trafficking and child marriage by capacitating the members of the existing task force to track any form of migration and linking them with the protection committees and to reinforce the confidence of the trafficked survivors and can be engaged in the mechanisms of child protection.
