    • Basic Information about the initiative
    • Janvikas and ActionAid have been associated since 2001 while working on the issues of relief and rehabilitation of earthquake victims in Kutch. In 2002 both came together along with other organizations as a part of Citizenメs initiative to respond to communal carnage in Gujarat. The funding relationship started in 2007 and Janvikas became NF partner to work upon the issues of Internally Displaced People (IDP). Antrik Visthapit Hakk Rakshak Samiti was formed to raise the issues of IDPs, to take forward the interventions with the IDPs. Janvikas became LRP partner in 2008. Since then Janvikas has been working in partnership with ActionAid on the issues of IDPs and Muslims in 69 colonies and for peace and communal harmony. This programme being implemented by Janvikas in partnership with ActionAid has been named as Buniyaad. As an incubator of organizations and Institutions the primary role of Janvikas has been to initiate and incubate issue based organizations and institutions. As part of incubating, Janvikas will hold, setup and strengthen Buniyaad as a state level organization to work upon the issues of Peace, Communal harmony and issues of Muslims in Gujarat. An advisory board has been formed to support Buniyaad.
