National Convention on Advocacy for Care Work

Care work includes those activities that nurture our family, our community and the environment. Activities such as cooking, cleaning, collecting water and firewood, and caring for the ill, elderly and children, which are done by family members, often women and girls, for no pay and with little recognition. Care work also includes voluntary community work.
